Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Purpose
This policy is designed to prevent abuse of the SwiftCab platform and ensure fairness between riders and drivers.
2. Rider Cancellations
- Before Driver Dispatch: Cancellations made before a driver is assigned are free of charge.
- After Driver En Route: If a rider cancels once a driver is already on the way, a 5% cancellation fee will apply.
3. Driver Cancellations
SwiftCab actively monitors driver cancellations. Excessive or unjustified cancellations may result in penalties, suspension, or deactivation of the driver’s account.
4. Refunds
Eligible refunds will be processed to the rider’s wallet or original payment method. Refunds may take 5–10 business days to reflect, depending on the payment provider’s processing time.
5. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
