Driver Agreement

1. Purpose

This Driver Agreement outlines the obligations and responsibilities of drivers using the SwiftCab platform, and defines the relationship between drivers and SwiftCab.

2. Independent Contractor Status

Drivers are independent contractors and not employees of SwiftCab. Drivers have full control over their schedules and the acceptance of trips. This agreement does not establish an employment, agency, or joint venture relationship.

Drivers must uphold professionalism at all times. Discrimination, harassment, or abusive behavior towards riders will not be tolerated. Vehicles must be kept clean, safe, and in good condition.

5. Payments

Drivers receive payments for completed trips after SwiftCab’s service commission has been deducted. SwiftCab reserves the right to adjust commission rates with reasonable notice to drivers.

6. Accountability

Excessive trip cancellations, unsafe practices, or consistently poor ratings may result in account suspension or permanent deactivation from the platform.

7. Governing Law

This Driver Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
